The Small Business Computing 2005 Excellence in Technology Awards recognize achievement and innovation in small business software, hardware and services.

Eligibility
Products must have been introduced or significantly updated within the 2004 calendar year.

Nominations
SmallBusinessComputing.com, E-Commerce Guide.com, Webopedia.com and WinPlanet.com readers may nominate award candidates online here. Nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, November 23, 2004.

Finalists
Editors of internet.com's Small Business Channel will tabulate the number of votes and evaluate the qualifications of eligible nominees to determine finalists. A list of finalists will be posted online Thursday, December 2, 2004.

Voting
Readers may vote for their choice of winner in each category from November 30, 2004 through Monday, January 10, 2005.

Winners
Winners will be announced on the SmallBusinessComputing.com home page on Monday, January 24. Winners and finalists receive the Small Business Computing 2005 Excellence in Technology Awards Winner and Finalist logo, respectively, which they will be permitted to use in marketing materials.
